The elementary program offers ongoing in-class musical experiences in classrooms that have no musical specialist or organized music program. We serve six schools each year, and each school remains in the program for two to three years. In collaboration with the UW World Series at Meany Hall for the Performing Arts, LMC's Music in Schools program coordinates residencies and master classes of international-caliber performers with student musicians. |

In collaboration with Classical Music Supporters, the LMC Music in Schools program is an educational outreach to students in Seattle area public schools. The Music in Schools program provides both performance and hands-on musical experiences for both elementary and secondary children from various Seattle neighborhoods and across a broad span of ethnicities.
