Ladies Musical Club (LMC) of Seattle, founded in 1891, is the city's oldest arts organization. It is a corporation of women whose mission is to foster classical music in the community through education, performance, and awards. Current membership is approximately two hundred women. LMC has developed a rich palette of programs, which includes a concert series featuring LMC members in recital, an Awards and Tour program for young professional musicians, and a unique Music in Schools program.
